gold has always been the family trade
Long before there was a dealing desk, there was a workshop. Haus Jewellers spent decades valuing, repairing and remaking gold for the people who walked through the door — learning, piece by piece, what metal is worth and how to prove it.
That counter watched too much good gold leave for brokers who added a margin and nothing else. So in 2018 the family opened a separate business to shorten the chain — first for its own counter, then for everyone else’s. BullionExchange is that business: a focused buy, sell and exchange arm, run on the same standards as the bench it came from.

The family opens a dedicated bullion arm in Hatton Garden. The brief is narrow on purpose: buy, sell and exchange precious metal at a fair, transparent rate — and nothing else.

Households, jewellers and pawnbrokers across the UK settle with us — quietly, quickly and at the figure on the sheet. The bench heritage stayed; the middlemen did not.
